CHICAGO — When is Halfway to Halloween, or Halfoween, celebrated?
As the name suggests, Halfway to Halloween occurs six months before Oct. 31 and celebrates the halfway mark to the community’s favorite day. However, there is some debate within the spooky community about the exact date.

Some people celebrate April 30, others on May 1. For Miranda from Spooky Little Halloween, May 2 is the date of choice because it marks exactly 26 weeks until Halloween.
Although not as widely celebrated or known as Halloween, Halfoween, sometimes spelled Half-o-ween, is gaining momentum among those who adore all things fall. It’s the perfect excuse for the community to add a Halloween twist to an otherwise non-spooky day.
When are YOU celebrating Halfway to Halloween, spooky friends?
