CHICAGO — Get ready pumpkin fanatics because the iconic Starbucks fall drink officially returns in August for its 20th year.
A Starbucks employee confirmed to Splash of Spooky in July that the release date for the Pumpkin Spice Latte will be Thursday, Aug. 24, 2023. The company officially made their announcement one day before the fall launch.
The last Tuesday in August is traditionally when Starbucks releases their iconic fall beverage.
According to the company, the fall menu features the returning PSL and Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew plus two new drinks: Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai Tea Latte and Iced Apple Crisp Oatmilk Shaken Espresso. The Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato will also be returning.
Returning food items are the Owl Cake Pop, Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin and the Pumpkin and Pepita Loaf. They’ll be joined by the new Baked Apple Croissant.
Dunkin’ Donuts released their fall items on Aug. 16.
