CHICAGO — “Hocus Pocus 3” is reportedly in the works, according to a New York Times article that profiled Disney executive Sean Bailey.
The Times published an article Sunday profiling Walt Disney Pictures President Sean Bailey as part of promotion for “The Little Mermaid.” The article confirmed that a third installment of the Sanderson Sisters’ saga was in motion.
“Yes, ‘Hocus Pocus 3’ is happening. (His division makes two or three big-budget films annually for release in theaters and three modestly budgeted movies for Disney+.)” the article said.
No further information was provided about the film.
“Hocus Pocus 2” premiered exclusively on Disney+ Sept. 30, 2022. The original was released in 1993.
