CHICAGO — Get ready for an October filled with spooky Halloween movie choices.
On Thursday, Freeform released its 2023 schedule for its annual “31 Nights of Halloween,” and several favorites are coming back.
“Hocus Pocus,” “Halloweentown,” “Nightmare Before Christmas” and plenty of other classics are back this year as well as a few newcomers. “Zombies” will be airing on Oct. 7. Other new movies making their Freeform premiere are “Zombies 2″ and “Encanto.”

This year, the “Family Guy” Halloween episodes won’t be making a comeback, but there will be plenty of chances to watch “The Simpsons Treehouse of Horror.” “Beetlejuice” is another classic that wasn’t on the lineup.
