CHICAGO — A new year means new goals and new spooky fall fun coming to my little Halloween website.
I started Splash of Spooky in July and with the new year right around the corner, I’ve been thinking of all the new things I’ll be bringing to you spooky fans in the coming year.
Now, before I tell you everything new on the way, I do want to mention that the newsletter will always be around and it’s the perfect way to get Splash of Spooky content sent straight to your inbox. I get how annoying emails can be, which is why I only send them max twice a month. So if you haven’t already signed up, be sure to join.

No More Etsy Shop
You’ve probably already seen in my newsletter and Insta stories that the Etsy stop has closed. It was a good two year run but sometime between fulfilling orders and finding time to write blog posts, I realized that the shop was taking away from what I really wanted to do — and that’s writing and content creation. I want to give a giant thanks to everyone who supported me. Your orders always made me do a happy dance.
Patreon
If you enjoy the content I share on my website, then you’ll want to consider joining my Patreon. Patreon is a monthly subscription service that allows you to support your favorite content creator while getting fun merch and exclusive content in return. When you become a member of my Patreon, you’ll get access to exclusive content such as behind-the-scenes photos, bloopers, unpopular opinion discussions, and an inside look into all the other Halloween things I have going on. More Card Exchanges
Card exchanges have always been a fun way to get happy mail. This year, not only will there be a Halloween exchange, but also a Valoween exchange and quite possibly a Summerween or Halfway to Halloween card exchange. But here’s the catch — card exchanges will only be available to Patreon members. Every year, I get a good amount of people who sign up for the exchange but there is a cost associated to it. So for that reason, I decided to make the cards a part of Patreon. And you’ll never be required to send a card back. Just enjoy the fun spooky mail you get. Also, if you join the highest Patreon tier I offer, every month, you’ll get a Chicago-themed card from me. You know I’m always talking about my hometown, so I had to make it a part of the Splash of Spooky fun.

Shop LTK
You’ll now be able to shop my favorite fall looks and finds. Shop LTK is an an app that allows you to see where I bought the items featured in my photos and stories. More Halloweenifying Other Holidays
I had so much fun turning Christmas into Creepmas this year and I’m going to keep that going with the other holidays, which is something I’ve never really done before. So this year, get ready to see more Halloween being incorporated into other holidays on your timeline. I can’t wait for Easterween! Anyone else remember the little spooky bunnies I made last year?
