CHICAGO — A giant 13-foot Jack Skellington animatronic is coming to Home Depot this Halloween season.
GMHaunts and the Home Depot Halloween Haunters Club Facebook group confirmed this week that the home improvement store will have a giant animatronic of the beloved “The Nightmare Before Christmas” character.
While the Facebook group didn’t have many details, it said the prop will have Servo motors in his head to allow for “realistic movement.”

“We think Home Depot’s 13 Ft. Jack Skellington will be a great way to ensure your Halloween display will be LITERALLY heads above the rest,” the group said in a post.
Late last month, a photo of the animatronic was posted to the Halloween subreddit offering a different angle of the decoration.

It is unknown what date Home Depot will release the animatronic and what it will cost.
Skelly, the store’s famous 12 foot skeleton, which cost almost $300 last year, is popular among Halloween fans and has previously sold out quickly upon its release.
The Inferno Pumpkin, which was released after Skelly gained popularity, was also one of the store’s big ticket items. The two gigantic home decor pieces were back in stock over the Halfway to Halloween weekend.
