CHICAGO — Party planning takes a lot of work and organization, but sometimes life happens and we find ourselves in a scramble to get everything we need with just a few days left.
I get it — sometimes we just lose track of time and suddenly that event you had been planning for months rears its head. I have a bad habit of putting things off because I think I have so much time, but eventually the time runs out. Luckily there are tons of stores that have party supplies that can help out in a pinch. But what do you do when you don’t just have time to run to a store for all your party supply needs? You head over to good old Amazon who can deliver it within a day or two.

Here are 10 items that will make that last minute party one to remember:
What a spooky way to dress up your party table. There are tons of these available on Amazon and they all seem to be overlays that you put on top of whatever colored tablecloth you already have.
These balloon towers have gained popularity lately and they can be very expensive when you buy them from a party supplier. When you make them yourself they’re fairly cheap. It just takes some time to figure out how to do it.
3. Garland
If you have a boring wall in your party room (and let’s face it, there ALWAYS is!) then this garland can perk things up very quickly. The best part is you can cut it up to tailor it to your specific needs.
4. Jack-o-Lantern Paper Plates
Forgot regular boring orange plates. How about plates with actual Jack-o-Lantern faces on them? Kids will get a kick out of these (and the adults, too).
5. Party Fans
Party fans are a quick way to spruce up a space for a party. They come in different sizes and various colors. So you can use them for a non-Halloween party depending on what colors you get.
A party classic — streamers! These are the cheapest way to decorate for a party and they very much remind me of grade school Halloween parties.
We all know red SOLO cups are the iconic party cups, but this is a Halloween website so obviously orange cups are a priority.
8. Orange, Black and Confetti Balloons
Balloons are a classic and very simple way to decorate for a party. You can get a helium tank and have them line the ceiling or get some tape and place them on the walls. So many options.
If you’re giving out goodie bags there’s no better way to do it than by using these spooky bags. Sure you can probably make these yourself, but this is for us last minute folks.
10. Happy Halloween Table Honeycomb Centerpieces
Every table needs a centerpiece and this little set gives you a ton of options. It’s great if you have multiple tabletops or just want to put extra stuff around the dinner table.
Hope this list helps you guys out! I know I can’t be the only one who plans things last minute.
